Cliffe Hall is a Victorian House, which has recently been completely re-decorated. It stands in its own grounds, half a mile from the main road, making it a quiet rural retreat. We farm the land round us and the River Tees, 300 yards to our north, is the county boundary. |
|
Richard's forebears bought the Cliffe Estate in the mid 19th century and added the present Victorian house to the existing Georgian house. In the late 1960's most of the Georgian part was demolished and the third floor of the Victorian house was removed, making it a far more manageable house. |

While the ceilings are high and the rooms large and perfectly proportioned, the house gives you a wonderful feeling of welcome as you walk in. |
